| JANICE Driedger , Music Director Emerita
The beloved organist and choir director of St John's for almost four decades, Janice Driedger retired in 2005. Mrs Driedger majored in music on scholarship at Temple University, where she received her degree with a concentration in piano. She continued her intensive study of piano for twelve years with private instruction. She sang and toured with the Alumni Choir of Temple, and for many years with the Ambler Choral Society. She became organist at St Paul's Lutheran Church in Glenside, and also served as organist and music director for other churches including Mediator Lutheran in Philadelphia and Zion Lutheran in Fort Washington.
In August of 2005, Janice's many loving and thankful "fans" gathered from far and wide to pay tribute to her at the "Janice Jublilee" given in her honor at St John's.
